Hikami Yumeko is one of understudies of 150th generation and a member of Team A.
Appearance
Yumeko has black shoulder length hair and green eyes. Since there is always winter on her home planet Koristar, she mostly only has warm winter clothes. She is a bit short for her age. She has very pale skin. Like all members of AKB0048 she has heart shaped shine in her eyes and hair.
Personality
Yumeko is a shy person who isn't very comfortable in her abilities however she became much more confident after joining AKB0048 and because of her friendship with Hotaru and other members. Yumeko is more of a quiet observer and doesn't talk much but enjoys listening to conversation of other members. She is kind and cares a lot for her fellow members. She is polite to others and doesn't get angry often. She is very organized and hardworking and always does her work on time. She wants to give strong and calm image and hates it if she shows her weakness to others - she usually tries to pretend she is fine when she doesn't feel well.
History
Yumeko comes from a planet called Koristar, a planet that has winter for a whole year. She was usually alone and her only friend was Ito Hotaru, who was the reason Yumeko decided to join AKB0048.
Encountering AKB0048
Koristar is under entertainment ban so Yumeko never heard music until she was 6. She was playing alone in the forest when she suddenly heard it and went to check what is happening. She met a girl her age who was hiding and listening to AKB songs. When girl noticed her she invited her to join her. It was Ito Hotaru and because of her Yumeko learned about 00. After that she became big fan of AKB, but she never imagined that she could become part of it too, she was satisfied with just being a fan. She spent time with Hotaru every day, but when she was 9, Hotaru told her that her family got chance to move to Atamistar so they are going there. Before they left they promised to each other that they'll meet again one day, when they'll become part of AKB0048 together. Yumeko decided that she'll definitely keep that promise.
Auditions
Yumeko passed auditions and joined AKB0048 as part of 150th generation. There she was reunited with Hotaru and it was like they never spent time apart. Two of them also became very close with Rei and Tomorin.

Yumeko along with Hotaru, Rei and Tomorin met some auditioneers and they ate lunch together.
